Sinclair Wilson had the privilege of welcoming a group of Year 9 students from Brauer College as part of the Brauer Trades Taster Program, coordinated by South West TAFE with support from the Neil Porter Legacy.
The students spent time with Jeremy, Alex, Adam and Kirsty learning about the diverse career opportunities available in financial services, accounting, wealth management and stockbroking. They also enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the office and the chance to ask questions about study pathways, career journeys and life in the industry.
One of the strongest messages shared today was:
“Don’t be afraid to fail. Some of life’s biggest lessons come from setbacks, and every experience helps shape your future.”
Students also heard the importance of finding work you genuinely enjoy. Careers are long journeys, and there are always opportunities to learn, grow and change direction along the way.
