Give the gift of joy this Christmas
Christmas is here again. For most of us it’s a busy time; there’s shopping to be done, Christmas dinner’s to plan, travel bookings to make and work to clear off our desks before everything closes down for the Christmas break. Christmas is a joyful time for most of us; a time to catch up with friends, spend time with loved ones and let our hair down (just a little) at office Christmas parties.
It’s easy to forget that for some people in our community Christmas is not so happy. Be it families impacted by poverty or domestic violence or children in foster care, there are many children throughout our community who, without our help, may wake up to find little under the Christmas tree.
At Sinclair Wilson we’re not only continuing our 5 year tradition of partnering with local charities, but expanding our partnerships to bring joy to children in both Warrnambool and Hamilton on Christmas morning. We encourage all our Principals, Staff, Clients and members of the general public to donate to one of our two Sinclair Wilson Wishing Trees this year.
By taking a tag from the lobby of our Warrnambool or Hamilton office, buying an age appropriate gift for a young local boy or girl and leaving your unwrapped gift under one of our Wishing Trees, you can help us ensure no child has to go without this Christmas.
This year we have partnered with:
- Brophy Family & Youth Services – Supporting children in foster care in Warrnambool
- Emma House – Supporting children impacted by domestic violence in Warrnambool
- Vinnies – Supporting children in families impacted by poverty in Warrnambool
- Warrnambool Central Rotary Club – Gift collection and distribution in Warrnambool
- MacKillop Family Services – Supporting children in foster care in Hamilton
Warrnambool Central Rotary Club will collect donations from our Warrnambool office at 5:30pm Thursday 14th December and MacKillop Family Services will collect donations from our Hamilton office at 11am Monday 18th December.
Thank you.
Have a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year from the Principals and Staff at Sinclair Wilson.
