About the role

Our highly regarded Tax Division is seeking to further strengthen their team by attracting Tax professionals with experience working in a large practice with a high calibre client base.

The successful candidates will work closely with Sinclair Wilson’s multi-disciplinary team, providing holistic and integrated advice to clients across the group.

About the candidate

You will need to:

  • Have completed your CA or CPA professional qualification, or be undertaking this study;
  • Have demonstrated experience researching complex matters;
  • Be experienced in, and comfortable with, interacting with and reporting to the Group’s 20-strong partnership;
  • Embrace Sinclair Wilson’s community leadership, and be willing to be engaged with the region in which you live and work; and
  • Have demonstrated experience cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our fast-paced Warrnambool office.

The successful candidate is someone with XERO experience, who is process driven and has excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work autonomously within a team environment.

About the role

The Accounts Payable position plays a pivotal role in our Accounts Department to ensure accounts are processed in a timely and efficient manner.

The duties of this role include, but certainly aren’t limited to:

  • Processing of invoices/credit notes
  • Weekly and adhoc payment runs
  • Invoice matching
  • Reconciling creditor statements
  • Creating and maintenance of creditors
  • Processing of staff expense claims
  • Monitoring and administering accounts payable email inbox

About You:

You’re a “can do” person who thrives in a busy and changing work environment.  It is vital that you can also demonstrate:

  • Experience and understanding of end to end accounts payable principles and procedures
  • Experience in processing of supplier invoices and credit notes
  • Experience in the preparation of accurate and timely payment runs, including sending remittances on completion
  • Experience in reconciliation of supplier account and statements on a regular basis
  • The ability to process end of month accounts payable reconciliation and reporting
  • That you are competent in processing and payment of staff expense claims on a regular basis
  • A commitment to customer service both internally and externally
  • Experience using XERO would be advantageous but not essential

About the candidate

  • Have a client-centric approach to your work

  • Can effectively communicate appropriate strategies to support clients’ short and long term financial goals
  • Have initiative and can work autonomously to ensure deadlines are met

Candidates must be ‘FASEA Ready’, or at least have a FASEA pathway approved by our in-house Compliance Manager.
