Financial Planner

Our services are growing!  Sinclair Wilson has seen strong growth in the Wealth Management division, and is now seeking Financial Planners to join their dynamic team.  Positions are currently available in Warrnambool, Colac, Hamilton, Camperdown and Mt Gambier.

About the role

As a Financial Adviser, you will work closely with Sinclair Wilson team, providing holistic and integrated advice to clients across the group, including;

  • Strategic superannuation planning
  • Retirement planning
  • Wealth creation
  • Portfolio construction
  • Risk management
  • Social security

Working with a leading stockbroking firm and in-house para-planning and administrative team, the Sinclair Wilson group provides its people with outstanding support to deliver a premier service to its clients.

About the candidate

Strong people skills are essential to this role, as you will be advising a broad range of clients including salary employees, business owners and high net worth individuals – both new and existing.  It is vital that you:

  • Have a client-centric approach to your work
  • Understand the individual needs of your clients
  • Can effectively communicate appropriate strategies to support clients’ short and long term financial goals
  • Have initiative and can work autonomously to ensure deadlines are met

Compliance is a vital ingredient in the provision of financial advice. Therefore, candidates must meet the following pre-requisites:

  • Completion of Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning or equivalent designation recognised by FASEA
  • RG 146 compliant for providing advice on financial products

As a member of a self-licensed firm, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide unbiased advice on a transparent fee for service basis.
