ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS SUPPORT – Warrnambool

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in accounting or book-keeping, to join our team.

This is an exciting new role where you can provide high quality support to our large client base, drawing on your extensive knowledge of accounting software packages such as Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks.

About the role

The Accounting Systems Support role is central to providing our clients with high quality training and support to set up various accounting software packages including Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks.  As such, you will know all the tips and tricks of this software and be able to share your knowledge and experience with our clients to ensure they are fully supported in maximising these programs for their business.

The Accounting Systems Support role is integral to our business services offering and will work collaboratively with our Accounting team, supporting our client base.

The duties of this role will include, but certainly aren’t limited to:

  • Training and ongoing support to our clients to set up various accounting software packages across a range of industries
  • Preparation of BAS, IAS, payroll tax, superannuation and reconciliations
  • Reconciliations of general bank accounts

About You:

The ideal applicant will hold a minimum of Certificate IV in Book Keeping and be well-versed in accounting practices. You will also have the knowledge, experience and patience to provide training and ongoing support to our clients in accounting software packages.

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE – Warrnambool office

Our fast-paced Accounts Department is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to join its team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounts processing and database management, exceptional client service skills and attention to detail. We’re looking for someone who communicates well, is a quick-thinker and a great team player.

About the role

The Accounts Receivable position plays a pivotal role in our Accounts Department to ensure accounts are processed in a timely and efficient manner.

The duties of this role will include, but certainly aren’t limited to:

  • Processing of accounts and receipting payments
  • Responding to client account enquiries
  • Maintenance of client database
  • Provide training and support to Partners and staff in respect to database maintenance
  • Provide assistance to Partners and staff in respect to bill preparation processes
  • Provide support to the Systems Support Team to attend to tax administration duties, ATO correspondence and other general office administration duties as required

About You:

You’re a “can do” person who thrives in a busy and changing work environment.  It is vital that you:

  • Possess an intermediate level of computer literacy and are competent in the use of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to our internal and external clients
  • Approach your work with a problem-solving mindset and the initiative to work autonomously as required
  • Have the ability to prioritise and manage workflow particularly during peak periods
  • Experience using MYOB would be advantageous but not essential

PERSONAL ASSISTANT – Warrnambool Office

An exciting, opportunity exists for a suitably experienced PA with excellent communication skills and a professional attitude to join our Warrnambool office on a full-time basis.

About the role

This is a full-time position, based at our head office in Warrnambool.

The successful applicant will join an established team of PAs, providing direct support to the Partners, Accountants and other members of the Administration team from across the Sinclair Wilson Group (including our four other offices) as required.

About You:

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • The ability to multitask and capacity to manage unexpected challenges
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to delivering excellent customer service in a professional and courteous manner to both our internal and external customers

Experience in a legal or accounting practice, together with knowledge of ASIC regulations and Company secretarial procedures, would be advantageous, but not essential.

ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT – Colac Office

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our Colac team.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate exceptional client service skills and attention to detail. We’re looking for someone who communicates well, who is a quick-thinker and fast to act when needed.

About the role

The Administration Assistant role is a multifaceted role which will see you performing, but not limited to, a variety of administration tasks, reception duties, directing telephone enquiries, client liaison, data entry and processing incoming and outgoing mail.

Based in the Colac office, the successful candidate will also provide support to the Camperdown team, requiring travel to the Camperdown office 1- 2 days per week.
