About the Position:

We currently have a full time administration position available at the group’s founding and largest office in Warrnambool, on Victoria’s Great South Coast.

This is a role central to the efficient functioning of our busy practice, based within a dynamic and collaborative administration team that is the frontline to our client service and interaction.

The daily duties of this role include, but certainly aren’t limited to:

  • Reception duties (face-to-face and telephone)
  • Daily mail and correspondence
  • Electronic filing
  • Administrative support to Partners and Associates

About You

The ideal applicant will be a well-presented and skilled administrator, who thrives in a busy professional service environment. Experience within an accounting or financial services practice will be a distinct advantage, although not essential; we appreciate a good administrator can adapt their skills to suit their environment and will provide additional training and support as necessary.

We’re seeking an excellent communicator who has a sharp eye for detail; someone who is confident on the phone and face-to-face, who can show that they are skilled at building and maintaining relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is crucial and experience with MYOB will be a distinct advantage.

Audit Specialist

About the Position:

Our highly regarded and well-credentialed Audit division is seeking an experienced specialist to join its dynamic and efficient team. Five years or more of audit experience is necessary, and will ensure the successful applicant works closely with our Audit Principal to manage a large and growing portfolio of SMSF audits, as well as help with existing external and internal audit engagements.

To be eligible, applicants will have completed their CA or CPA professional qualification and demonstrate experience that satisfies the requirements of a Registered Company Auditor. A sharp understanding of current Australian Auditing and Accounting Standards, and knowledge of SMSF regulations is a must.

A salary package shall be negotiated commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The position would be based at Sinclair Wilson’s head office in Warrnambool, at the western end of Victoria’s idyllic Great Ocean Road.

We are seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to work across our highly-regarded tax division.

  • Have completed their CA or CPA professional qualification
  • Have demonstrated experience researching complex matters
  • Be experienced in, and comfortable with, interacting with and reporting to the Group’s 20-strong partnership
