Sinclair Wilson’s Finance division is growing and is looking to add to the team.

This growth, and the ongoing prosperity of South West Victoria, has created an exciting new opportunity for an ambitious professional who is looking to launch their finance career.

We are seeking an enthusiastic applicant with life experience, who is comfortable with people, process and a team based environment.  A person who will work alongside our clients from first phone call to final settlement, providing timely, diligent and accurate assistance and support all the way through their property journey.

A person who can:

  • Prove they are a good communicator
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with a broad stable of clients, from individuals purchasing their first home, through to business owners looking to expand their own successful operations.

It’s also important the successful candidate respects the need for compliance, systems and processes that’s central to our industry, but is also willing to go the extra mile to ensure a good outcome for a valued client.

We will provide the education, training, support and mentoring to ensure the successful candidate can flourish, and, in time, build a rewarding and lucrative career within our successful Finance Broking division.

About the role

As a Financial Adviser, you will work closely with the Sinclair Wilson team, providing holistic and integrated advice to clients across the group, including;

About the candidate

Strong people skills are essential to this role, as you will be advising a broad range of clients including salary employees, business owners and high net worth individuals – both new and existing.  It is vital that you:

  • Have a client-centric approach to your work

  • Can effectively communicate appropriate strategies to support clients’ short and long term financial goals
  • Have initiative and can work autonomously to ensure deadlines are met

Candidates must be ‘FASEA Ready’, or at least have a FASEA pathway approved by our in-house Compliance Manager.

PERSONAL ASSISTANT

Warrnambool office

An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably experienced PA or someone wishing to take the next step in developing their administrative career.   To be successful in this role you will need excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.  This is an opportunity to join our large and progressive accounting practice situated in Warrnambool on a full-time basis.

The successful applicant will join an established team of PAs, providing direct support to the Partners, Accountants and other members of the Administration team as required. Experience in a legal or accounting practice, together with knowledge of ASIC regulations and Company secretarial procedures, would be advantageous, but not essential.
