Perry Cho
Chairman

Perry Cho is the Chairman of Sinclair Wilson Group and is based in the Warrnambool office.  He also attends one day a week at our Timboon office. With over 35 years of business and taxation experience, Perry is dedicated in fulfilling the professional accounting needs of small and medium enterprises.  Perry’s experience extends across a range of industries including farming, manufacturing, automotive, retailers, hotels and mixed businesses.  Perry is a Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant (FCPA) and also holds a Diploma in Business.  In 1997, he was awarded Warrnambool Business Achiever of the Year.  Perry started with Sinclair Wilson in 1974 and then became a Partner in 1982.  In October 2011 he was appointed to the Chairman position.

Peter McMillan
Partner

Peter McMillan is a Partner within the Accounting and Taxation group of Sinclair Wilson and is based in the Warrnambool office.  Peter provides his clients with accounting, taxation and business financial advice.  Peter provides advice to a wide range of clients in various industries which are predominantly located around Western Victoria.  Peter is a qualified Certified Practicing Accountant (FCPA).  Peter started with Sinclair Wilson in 1963 and then became a Partner in 1970.   Peter was then the Chairman of the Sinclair Wilson group between 2006 and 2011.

Stephen Knight
Partner

Stephen Knight is an Accounting and Taxation Partner in the Sinclair Wilson Warrnambool office.  With over 30 years accounting experience, Stephen has been involved in providing a broad range of services such as compliance, superannuation and taxation.  He specialises in providing financial advice to a number of industries including retail, hospitality, farming and professional services.  Stephen is a Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant (FCPA) and holds a Diploma in Business.  Stephen has been a Partner at Sinclair Wilson since 1988 and has been with the firm since 1978.

John Bouwman
Partner

John Bouwman is a Partner in the Accounting and Taxation division at Sinclair Wilson’s Warrnambool office.  He also visits our Cobden office every second Wednesday afternoon or by appointment.  John specialises in self-managed super funds, conducts small business audits and can advise on and carry out voluntary liquidation of companies. John is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) and holds a Bachelor of Business degree.  John is also a Registered Company Auditor. For over 25 years John has been involved as treasurer of various community organisations. John became a Partner at Sinclair Wilson in 1988.

Basil Brock
Partner

Basil Brock is an Accounting and Taxation Partner in the Sinclair Wilson Warrnambool office. Basil has a diverse range of clients and an experience skill set to match. He specialises in professional practices such as medical and dental clinics, through to large farming operations. Basil also provides structuring advice to foreign farm owners setting up in the South West Victoria region. His clients benefit from his real world experience as he also owns and operates his own dairy farm. Basil is a registered Chartered Accountant (CA) and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Graduate Diploma in Accounting. In 1992 Basil became a Partner at Sinclair Wilson and has been with the firm since 1989.

Michael Rea
Partner

Michael Rea is a Partner in the Accounting and Taxation group at Sinclair Wilson’s Warrnambool office. Michael specialises in providing accountancy advice to trainers and breeders in the horse racing industry around Warrnambool. He has also worked specifically with beef grazier clients but has experience with many other clients within the primary production industry. Michael’s experience also includes clients within the hospitality industry such as hotels and motels. Michael is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and holds a Diploma of Business qualification. He has been a Partner at Sinclair Wilson since 1995 and started with the firm in 1988.

Martin Kavanagh
Partner

Martin Kavanagh is a Partner in the Accounting and Taxation group at Sinclair Wilson’s Warrnambool office. He is also based every Monday afternoon in our Port Fairy office. Martin specialises in providing tax and financial advices regarding business purchases and sales and all of the requisite needs of the owner or the shareholder. This may often involve a structured succession plan to ensure maximum value is maintained and tax is minimised. Martin is a Fellow member of Chartered Accountants (FCA) and holds a Bachelor of Business degree. He has been a Partner at Sinclair Wilson since 1995 and started at the firm in 1991.

Wes Dunn
Partner

Wes Dunn is a Partner in the Accounting and Taxation group at Sinclair Wilson’s Warrnambool office. His clients range from building and construction companies to property developers and small businesses. Wes also specialises in providing Capital Gains Tax advice to businesses while complying with the current tax legislation framework. Wes is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) and also has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree. Prior to starting with Sinclair Wilson, Wes worked in an International Chartered Accountancy firm in Melbourne for 6 years. In 1991 Wes started with Sinclair Wilson and in 1998 he became a Partner.

Robert Baudinette
Partner

Robert Baudinette is an Accounting and Taxation Partner in Sinclair Wilson’s Warrnambool office. Throughout Robert’s career he has provided taxation and business advice to both rural and city based businesses utilising his specialist experience in the motoring trade and dairy industry. Robert reviews his clients’ structuring arrangements and also assists property developers. For foreign owners establishing their businesses within Australia Robert provides tax compliance advice and also assists with their wealth creation. Robert is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA). Robert joined Sinclair Wilson as a Partner in 1992.

Felicity Melican
Partner

Felicity Melican is a Partner in the Audit and Assurance group within the Sinclair Wilson Warrnambool office. Throughout Felicity’s experience she has specialised in providing assistance for Not-for-profit organisations and sporting clubs getting established into an incorporated association. Felicity is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and also an SSAud (SMSF Specialist Auditor) through SPAA (SMSF Professionals' Association of Australia). She also holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary). Felicity joined Sinclair Wilson in 1993 and became a Partner in 2001.

Darren O'Donnell

Darren O’Donnell is a Partner in the Accounting group in the Sinclair Wilson Warrnambool office. He is also based every Wednesday afternoon in our Terang office. Darren specialises in providing advice on taxation, fringe benefits tax and accounting for small business. Throughout Darren’s experience he has worked with clients within industries such as building and construction, primary production and retail sectors. Darren has a Bachelor of Business, a Public Practice Certificate and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA). He has been a Partner at Sinclair Wilson since 2004.

Kane Grant

Kane Grant is a Partner in the Accounting and Taxation group within Sinclair Wilson’s Warrnambool office. Sean Delaney
Partner

Sean Delaney is an Accounting and Taxation Partner within the Warrnambool Sinclair Wilson office. He is also based every Wednesday in our Colac office. Sean specialises in providing his clients succession and estate planning advice along with tax effective business and asset restructuring. Sean has run successful succession planning and property development seminars on a number of occasions. Sean is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Sean joined Sinclair Wilson in 2002 and became a Partner in 2006.

Wayne Promnitz
Partner

Wayne Promnitz is a Partner within the Superannuation group in the Warrnambool office of Sinclair Wilson. He specialises in Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs). Wayne holds a degree in Accounting and a Financial Planning Diploma in SMSFs. He also holds an Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) Certification in Superannuation Management. Wayne is the only fully accredited SMSF specialist between Colac and Mount Gambier. Wayne has been a Partner of Sinclair Wilson since 2006.

Tony Davis
Partner

Tony Davis is a Partner in the Camperdown office of Sinclair Wilson. Tony provides a broad range of services including taxation and business advice and Self Managed Super Funds (SMSFs). Tony is also a Registered Company Auditor. Tony is familiar with the various industries surrounding Camperdown which includes primary production and retail businesses. Tony holds a Bachelor of Business, is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and also a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA). Tony has been a Partner since 1984 and the Camperdown office became part of the Sinclair Wilson partnership in 2000.

Debbie Nankervis

Debbie Nankervis is a Taxation and Business Advisory Partner at Sinclair Wilson’s Warrnambool office. Debbie specialises in providing financial advice to broad range of industries, from Hotels and Motels through to large retail operations and transportation companies. Debbie applies her experience to build her clients wealth, using methods that comply within the current tax legislation framework. Debbie holds a Bachelor of Business, an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA). Debbie became a Partner of Sinclair Wilson in 2009.

Michael Klem
Partner

Michael Klem is a Partner within the Superannuation group in the Warrnambool office at Sinclair Wilson. Michael provides specialist advice in all aspects of Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs) for clients including their pensions and estate planning. Having a keen interest in property investments, Michael has been able to achieve significant tax advantages for clients via SMSF borrowing arrangements. Prior to joining Sinclair Wilson, Michael worked for a 2nd tier accountancy firm in Melbourne. He has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Chartered Accountant (CA). Michael has been with Sinclair Wilson since 2001 and became a Partner in 2009.

Partner

John Miles is a Taxation and Business Advisory Partner in Sinclair Wilson’s Mount Gambier office. John has experience across the various industries around Mount Gambier, including food manufacturing, road transport and primary production. John is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and also holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. John has been a Partner since 1991.

Principal

Chris McDonald is the Principal of the Hamilton office and works within the Accounting and Taxation group at Sinclair Wilson.  Chris’s area of expertise is providing accounting solutions for primary producers and small businesses.  Chris is able to deliver his clients with effective retirement and succession planning solutions using self-managed super funds.  Chris is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and holds both a Diploma of Financial Planning and a Bachelor of Business (Accounting).  Chris commenced as Principal of the Sinclair Wilson Hamilton office in 2008.
